Under the Tonto Rim (Paramount, 1928). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style B.
This film was based on the famed Zane Grey Western novel, which has been filmed three times. Richard Arlen was cast as the romantic lead, with Mary Brian as his co-star, and both are featured on this beautiful stone litho poster. Arlen had risen to fame the year earlier in Wings. The amazing thing about this poster is that it was never folded. There were some chips in the bottom border and in the upper left corner. There were also two long clean tears that went into Arlen's image and these issues have been addressed with professional restoration. The linen has been trimmed to the edge of the poster. Very Fine- on Linen.
