Description

The Sheriff's Oath (Universal, 1920). One Sheet (27.5" X 41").
With bright colors, sheriff Hoot Gibson takes his prisoner away over the pleas of his woman. James O'Neill and Josephine Hill co-star alongside Hoot in another of his exciting short subjects from Universal. This poster has never been offered before and depicts the star in one of his earliest screen shorts, only a few years before he would become one of the biggest stars of the silent screen. The poster once showed fold wear and minor separations, small tears, and a thin cut at the lower left edge. Also professionally restored were enlarged pinholes in the borders and interior. Fine+ on Linen.
