The Iron Horse (Fox, 1924). Lobby Card Set of 8 (11" X 14").
This exceptionally rare lobby card set is from John Ford's silent Western classic The Iron Horse. Ford's epic stars George O'Brien and Madge Bellamy, both featured on multiple cards in this lovely hand-tinted lobby set. The title card has a chip in the bottom right corner, light surface wear, and small tears in the right border. The "three soldiers" card has a small chip in the bottom border. The "railroad tracks" card has a few tiny specks in the image area, two other cards have a chip in the bottom right corner, one has a stain at the top and bottom, smudging, and one has a chip in the top right, punch hole near the bottom and surface paper loss. Each card has writing in pencil on verso that does not show through to the front. Fine/Very Fine.
