    Description

The Hell Cat (Goldwyn, 1918). One Sheet (28" X 41.5").
Though it may seem counterintuitive, this silent Western stars one of the New York Metropolitan Opera's most beloved sopranos, Geraldine Farrar. A talented actress as well as a singer, Farrar valued emotive performances over technical perfection when it came to her stage shows, a practice that aided her well in her transition to the silver screen. Starring opposite the popular Milton Sills and long-time villain Tom Santcshi, this Reginald Barker film brought slews of "Gerry-flappers" to the theaters with its star power. Offered for the first time at Heritage, this vibrant stone litho poster has had professional restoration to address fold wear with paper loss at the crossfolds. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
