Description

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (PEA, 1966). Italian Premiere 24 Sheet (Approx. 105" X 223") Franco Fiorenzi and Michelangelo Papuzza Artwork.
Clint Eastwood delivers a knockout performance as "The Man With No Name," who isn't particularly "good," in this classic Spaghetti Western from Sergio Leone. But he is smarter and faster than the "bad" (Lee Van Cleef) and the "ugly" (Eli Wallach) in the third and best of the "Dollars" film trilogy. Italian artist Franco Fiorenzi and noted Sicilian artist Michelangelo Papuzza designed this exceedingly rare and one-of-a-kind original release, Italian 24-sheet, which is similar to the two and four fogli with its reflective silver background. The poster is special because it was used only for the Rome premiere and its limited run in that city. The poster has wear to some of the outer panels displaying chips where it might have been hung with tape. There are varied tears within the image, including a 26" tear in panel #4 and a 51" tear in panel #5. There is wear to the folds as printed in a reflective silver printing ink. The poster could be restored without a lot of trouble and displays, even now, very well. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
