    Description

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (PEA, 1966). Italian 2 - Foglio (38" X 53.5").
Posters for this great spaghetti Western, Sergio Leone's final film in his trilogy, are always a hit with fans, and even more so are the original Italian items, when available. Artist Franco Fiorenzi lends his considerable talents to this fantastic and unusual poster with the mugs of Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach, a unique reflective silver background, and key scenes from this modern classic highlighted in red. This exceedingly rare country of origin 2 foglio was used only for the Rome premiere and its limited run in that city. Minor imperfections do not detract from the spectacular effect of this stunner, and only include edge wear, a stain on the verso that bleeds through faintly to the front center fold, small tears in the left border, and light wrinkling. The number of these rare posters still existing is said to be less than a small handful, so don't miss a collecting opportunity of a lifetime. This is from the collection of Edoardo Ezio Pizzi, the man who handled all publicity and press relations for Unidis and Jolly Films and handled this film from pre-production through release and its re-releases.
