High Noon (United Artists, 1952). Insert (14" X 36"). Gary Cooper stars as a sherif under siege in one of the truly great Westerns. As a lawman preparing to retire and get married on the same day, Cooper must also deal with the news that a man he sent to prison has been released and is coming back on the noon train to kill him. Grace Kelly co-stars as his bride. Many collectors feel this insert features one of the iconic Western images as the camera looks between the legs of the killer as Cooper prepares to draw his pistols. The borders have been airbrushed to repair a few pinholes, small tears and some tiny chips out of the border. There were also some crimps within the image and a 1.5" tear in the right border that goes into the second "N" in Noon. The insert has now been paper backed to repair these minor problems.
