World War II Propaganda (1942) Folded, Fine+. Vichy Government French Affiche (23.25" X 33") "No'oubliez pas Oran!" ("Remember Ouran!"). War. Offered is a rare WWII poster from Vichy era France, printed to stir up outrage against the country's recent former ally, Great Britain. Just week's after France's submission to Nazi Germany, the British Navy sank a contingent of French ships in the Mediterranean to prevent them from Nazi use, killing over 1,200 French seamen onboard. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, mild creases, small tears, small chips, or minor stains. There is a significant separation of the horizontal fold with a few small pieces of archival tape on the verso. Folded, Fine+.
