L.C. Clinker and M.J. Dwyer collaborated artistically on this haunting piece, featuring a gaunt mother pleading for food on her children's behalf, surrounded by the crumbling bell towers and displaced populace of a war-wasted Europe. One can only hope it was effective in reminding civilian Americans of their relatively comfortable position, during the Great War. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may show general signs of use, such as slight edge wear, light creases, unobtrusive stains, small tears, or very minor paper loss and surface paper lifts.
