Description

Wings (Paramount, 1927). Program (Multiple Pages). Twenty-eight-year-old director William Wellman, himself a wartime aviator, made this film about two World War I aviators (Buddy Rogers, Richard Arlen) who are in love with the same Red Cross nurse (Clara Bow). A young Gary Cooper also appeared in a small but crucial role. "Wings" was the first feature film to win an Academy Award. This original 1927 program has some water damage to the inside pages. Light soiling and writing on front and back covers. Great color. Fine+.
