Wolfgang Petersen's critically acclaimed film about the claustrophobic world inside a German U-Boat gave audiences a look at World War II from the German perspective. Although the submariners were Nazi's, they didn't typify or believe in Nazi idealism. Their mission was simply trying to survive one of the most dangerous assignments during the war. This country-of-origin, large format German poster is in remarkable condition, and is rarely seen at auction. Very Fine/Near Mint.
