America's Answer (U. S. Army, 1918). One Sheet (27" X 41"). War.
Vintage stone litho World War I poster from the documentary film America's Answer, which was directed by Edwin F. Glenn and produced by the U.S. Committee on Information. This film was part of the "Following the Flag to France" series that focused on the arrival of the first American troops into France and detailed their progress throughout the operation. A restored poster with an overall presentable appearance. It may have tears, paper loss, minor stains, edge wear, and/or some fold separation. The poster has several vertical tears, which extend from the upper and lower borders into the credit and image areas. The longest tear is fourteen inches. There has been some touchup to the fold lines, but the poster has otherwise been mounted unrestored. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
