DescriptionThunderball (United Artists, 1965). Very Fine- on Linen. British Quad (30" X 40") Robert McGinnis Artwork.
British superspy James Bond (Sean Connery) is back in action on land, in the sea, and in the air in this exciting fourth entry in the world famous franchise. In another thrilling plot, Bond is on the hunt for two nuclear warheads stolen by SPECTRE agent Emilio Largo (Adolfo Celi), all the while fielding the amorous advances of three lovely ladies (Claudine Auger, Martine Beswick, and Luciana Paluzzi). Bond posters are always popular amongst collectors, and it's easy to see why. Showcasing a magnificent design by Robert McGinnis, this incredible country-of-origin poster features a fitting image of Connery surrounded by the film's three Bond girls. What's more, the poster looks fantastic after professional restoration to fold wear and separations, pinholes, and a few small tears and chips. There is airbrushing in the top left background that does not affect the image.
Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
