The Mummy (Universal, 1932). Folded, Very Fine/Near Mint. Swedish One Sheet (27.5" X 39.5") Hultberg Reklamatelje Artwork.
As is fitting for one of Universal's biggest horror pictures, it appears that Sweden had not one but two different printers creating posters for this popular film. It's Heritage's first time to offer this variation of Hultberg Reklamatelje's illustration from J. Olsens Lithographers, a contemporary of the Rokotryck Company that produced the other style. It's a standout poster for its striking rendering of Boris Karloff in full Mummy makeup and Zita Johann wearing the regal garb of Princess Anck-su-namun. Overall, posters from this horror classic are among the most desirable in the entire genre and tend to have great graphics, especially foreign posters. Very well preserved, this stone litho Swedish one sheet is in excellent condition with only very slight fold wear and separation, and a couple of light corner bumps. Although this beautiful poster was originally folded, it will be shipped rolled.

    Estimate: $3,000 - $6,000.
