The Lone Wolf, Louis Joseph Vance's celebrated thief-turned-sleuth, began his long association with Columbia Pictures in 1926's Return of the Lone Wolf. Bert Lytell plays Michael Lanyard, alias the Lone Wolf, a gentleman jewel robber who has reformed. When his girlfriend, played by Billie Dove, is robbed, he goes back to his old habits to recover her jewels. A first time offer from Heritage, this stone litho one sheet has been beautifully restored. Prior to restoration, it showed fold wear with light chipping, and paper loss in the borders (which has been airbrushed). From the Dwight Manley Collection.
