    Description

    The Mark of Zorro (United Artists, 1920). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). Johnson MacCulley's adventure novel "The Curse of Capistrano" was first adapted to the silver screen in this Douglas Fairbanks silent masterpiece. At the time Fairbanks made this film, he was best known for his energetic contemporary comedies. Hoping for an interesting change of pace, he made "The Mark of Zorro." never dreaming that the film's popularity would lock him into the swashbuckling mode for the rest of his silent career. One small border tear is the only imperfection on this magnificent card. Near Mint.
