    Description

Star Wars (20th Century Fox, 1976). Rolled, Very Fine. Howard Chaykin Promotional Poster (20" X 29").
A veritable treasure for Star Wars collectors, this is the incredibly popular Howard Chaykin poster printed in the summer of 1976 and then sold at San Diego Comic-Con and WorldCon in Kansas City. Chaykin, a Marvel comics artist, produced the artwork utilizing a handful of stills and paintings by concept artist Ralph McQuarrie, designer of the early Star Wars logo seen on the poster. Only about a thousand of the posters were printed, with only a small number ever surfacing. Presenting well with bright colors, this poster shows pinholes, mild creases, small surface scuffs, and very minor tears.

    Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
