    Description

The Hustler (20th Century Fox, 1961). Australian Three Sheet (41" X 81"). Based upon the novel of the same name by Walter Tevis, Robert Rossen's tale of a small-time, ambitious, struggling, self-destructive pool shark named Fast Eddie has become a legend of the silver screen. Paul Newman's portrayal of the lead character was awarded an Academy nomination, but it was not until twenty-five years later, when he reprised the role, did he receive the award. This beautiful stone-litho Australian three sheet is one of the better images used in publicity for the film, out-shining the rather lackluster original release domestic paper. Very Fine/Near Mint.
