Description

THX 1138 (Warner Brothers, 1971). One Sheet (24.25" X 39") Mylar Advance Style.
This very scarce mylar advance one sheet is from George Lucas' first venture into feature length science fiction called, THX 1138. Adapted from his short film made while a student at USC, the story deals with a "Big Brother" society of the future which has outlawed sex and controls its inhabitants with a tranquillizing drug. Robert Duvall is THX 1138, who breaks free of the restrictions and plans an escape. In excellent condition, this rare piece shows only edge wear, corner bends, and creasing in the helmet. From the collection of the late John L. Williams, noted Star Wars collector. Rolled, Very Fine.
