Description
The Day the Earth Stood Still (20th Century Fox, 1951). Lobby Cards (3) (11" X 14"). Robert Wise directed this great American "alien invasion" film. Two of the cards feature the soft-spoken interplanetary traveller Klaatu (Michael Rennie) and his unfortunate confrontation with the U.S. Army. The other card features Patricia Neal and her informant boyfriend, Hugh Marlowe. Each of these cards has multiple pinholes in the corners that extend down into the parameter graphic areas, border pinholes and trivial border bumps and nicks. Card # 8 has a slight crumple on the lower right corner, card #4 has a faint smudge stain just into the center right image, and card # 6 has a crumpled area on the upper and lower center border and on the lower right corner. There is a stain on the top border that runs just into the image. Very Fine-.Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details.
