    Description

    Robot Monster (Astor Pictures, 1953). One Sheet (27" X 41"). If you could stretch a very limited budget to include every schlock sci-fi cliche you can think of plus some really off-the wall new stuff into one movie, you couldn't do better - or worse - than "Robot Monster." A truly awful film, this picture has garnered much attention in recent years from fans of "so bad it's funny" cinema. Its growing cult following has created demand for these posters. Originally filmed in a 3-D process, the film received such a limited theatrical showing that the posters are quite rare. This one is mounted on linen and has been restored, correcting fold separations, tears, and some crosspoint separation. The restoration has been well done, though, and the print's original image is beautifully preserved in all its ultra-low budget glory. This piece is a monument to classically bad sci-fi and is truly delightful. Very Fine on Linen.
