    Description

Metropolis in La Petite Illustration (1928) French Magazine (12 Pages, 8" X 11.75"). Science Fiction.
Featured is a special 12-page issue of La Petite Illustration containing 20 sepia-toned stills and more about the Metropolis screenplay by Fritz Lang. The French premiere of Metropolis was on October 14th, 1927, and was shown for three months. There was a short one-week revival of the film in March 1928 for which this issue was printed, in anticipation of that event. Starring Alfred Abel, Gustav Frohlich, Brigitte Helm, Rudolf Klein-Rogge, Fritz Rasp, Theodor Loos, Erwin Biswanger, and Heinrich George. Directed by Fritz Lang. An unrestored magazine that displays signs of use. May include light edge or spine wear, slight foxing and toning due to age, or unobtrusive stains.
