Forbidden Planet (MGM, 1956). Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Without a doubt, this is the classiest sci-fi one sheet from the 1950s, for one of the classiest sci-fi movies ever made. With special effects not seen until then (some courtesy of Walt Disney Studios), a great story, and who can ever forget Robby the Robot? Now professionally restored, this poster once had fold wear and separations, creases, pinholes, and tears into the interior. There was also chipping in the borders and folds, which has been addressed with airbrushing.
