    Description

Symphonie der Liebe (L'Alliance Générale de Distribution Cinématographi, 1949). First Release Japanese B2 (14" X 20.5").
La Symphonie Fantastique was first released in France, 1942, and in post-war Germany in 1948. This film is the biographical story of the life and artistic struggles of the French composer Hector Berlioz. The title for the movie is taken from the Berlioz sweeping five-movement programmatic "Symphonie Fantastique" of 1830. Offered here is the beautiful, dream-like poster from the 1949 Japanese first release of the film. Paper on this title is rare and vintage paper seldom surfaces in this high a grade, if at all. Rolled, Very Fine+.
