DescriptionRollerball (United Artists, 1975). Folded, Fine+. Match Poster Set of 3 (20.5" X 29.5") with Portfolio Folder and Synopsis Sheet. Bob Peak Artwork.
This is a special set of three Match Posters, like the ones seen in the movie Rollerball, promoting games set in the then-future year of 2018 between Tokyo and Houston, New York and Houston, and Houston and Madrid. Featuring bold and striking graphics by famed artist Bob Peak, these three special "faux" posters were sent out to the exhibitors for promotional purposes and came in a special portfolio. The posters advertise matches that took place within the movie. All three event posters show some surface paper loss on the reverse of corners. Only the Houston-Madrid poster displays pinholes. The black folded cover shows wear and soiling. Also included is the synopsis sheet.
Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
