On to Reno (Pathé, 1928). Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
This Pathé divorce comedy stars Marie Prevost and is adapted from a story by Joseph Jackson about the great "divorce mill" at Reno. This was director James Cruze's first production for DeMille and co-starred Cullen Landis, Ethel Wales, and Ned Sparks. This poster which features a stunning portrait of Prevost displayed minimal wear before linen backing including light fold wear and a minute tear and chip within the center fold. The borders have been carefully airbrushed, and visible is very faint post-restoration staining near the lower "Pathé " text. From the Dwight Manley Collection.
