Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror (Universal, 1942). Fine+ on Linen. Three Sheet (41" X 79").Heritage is proud to offer this colorful three sheet from Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror for the first time. In the early days of World War II, Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. John Watson (Nigel Bruce) are enlisted to track down "The Voice of Terror," an unknown German broadcaster whose pronouncements always precede acts of sabotage and destruction. This was the first film in the Rathbone/Bruce franchise to be set in modern times, with the previous films staged in Victorian England. Skilled restoration has made corrections to some fold wear and separations, minor chips, a few tears, and pinholes. Also addressed were trims in varying degrees along the edges, please note that trims did not extend into the printing. The borders have been airbrushed. The poster now displays beautifully thanks to this excellent conservation.
