Description

Ziegfeld Follies (MGM, 1946). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14"). Escapist musical featuring the heavenly remnant of the late, great impresario Florenz Ziegfeld, who looks down and ordains a new revue in his grand old style. It has an all-star cast that includes Fred Astaire, Lucille Ball, Lucille Bremer, Fanny Brice, Judy Garland, Lena Horne, Gene Kelly, Red Skelton, William Powell, Keenan Wynn and Esther Williams. These cards have rounded corners, slight edge soiling and minor edge wear. One has a tiny mouse-bite of a chip in the lower edge, and the other has a bit of soiling in the margin. Colorful cards featuring Astaire, Bremer, Horne, Skelton, and other beloved performers would make a great display. Fine.
