Les Contes de Piron (1895). French Opera Poster (21.25" X 27.75"). Musical.A wonderful opera poster from the 1895 performance of composer C. Controne's and librettist Gaston Habrekorn's Les Contes de Piron, starring Sarah Duhamel at the Divan Japonais. A restored poster that displays signs of use. The poster has been linen-backed; however, no other restoration has been done. May include light edge wear, small tears, very minor paper loss, pinholes, or unobtrusive stains. There is an octagonal ink stamp on the left side near Miss Duhamel's credit. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Lovely stone litho artwork. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
