    Description

    Down to Earth (Columbia, 1947). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
    Whimsical and highly entertaining, Down to Earth features the celestial Rita Hayworth as Terpsichore, the Goddess of Dance, who descends from the heavens to save a Broadway production satirizing the Greek gods. Under her divine influence, the producer (Larry Parks) turns the musical into a serious work, much to the dismay of the opening night crowd. The truly important matter, however, is whether or not love will be allowed to blossom between the goddess and humble mortal, Parks. Hayworth sparkles on this colorful one sheet that's always a hit with collectors! Expert restoration has addressed chips in the borders, pinholes in the corners, and a tear and chip at the cross fold. Fine+ on Linen.
