DescriptionYou Only Live Twice (United Artists, R-1969). Folded, Near Mint. Full-Bleed British Double Crown (20" X 30") Robert McGinnis Artwork.
This was the first James Bond film to take creative liberties with Ian Fleming's novel and expand the series into the ultra-special effects and over-the-top plot lines that would become a staple of the films for years. The screenplay was by fantasy author Roald Dahl (best known for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). This British double crown is a first-time offer at Heritage. It features the well-known artwork by Robert McGinnis, but the image has been reversed. There are virtually no signs of wear visible on this great country of origin poster, which has only some soft creases.
Estimate: $300 - $600.
