DescriptionYou Can't Take It with You (Columbia, 1938). Fine+. Half Sheet (22" X 28"). From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
This movie was nominated for seven Academy Awards, and won two, for Best Picture, and Best Director for Frank Capra. This was Capra's third Academy Award for best director in just five years and starred Jean Arthur, Lionel Barrymore, and James Stewart. Making its Heritage debut, this half sheet shows indications of use, including some edge wear, slight creasing, pinholes in the borders and interior, as well as small tears. Also apparent are a couple of very minor chips, mild toning, two scratches in Jean Arthur's image, and a surface indentation in the title area from a scratch on the verso. There are a few strips of mending tissue on the verso.
Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
