    Description

World War I Propaganda (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1918). Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Liberty Bonds Poster (20" X 30") "Beat Back the Hun," Frederick Strothmann Artwork. War.
One of the most macabre images of World War I propaganda, this poster shows a bloodthirsty Hun looking over war-torn Europe and across the Atlantic to America. Most of the Liberty Bond posters were inflammatory, but highly effective - Americans would purchase more than $23 billion worth of bonds to help the war effort. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge and corner wear, creases, pinholes, unobtrusive stains, foxing, tears, soft folds, cellophane and paper tape on the verso, and very minor chips in the edges and corners. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
