Description

World War I Propaganda (U.S. Food Administration, 1918). Poster (20.75" X 29.5") "Be Patriotic," Paul Stahr Artwork.
Created as a call to all Americans, especially women, as Lady Liberty is portrayed here, the Food Administration used this wonderful portrait by Paul Stahr (1883-1953) to bring the country into the cause of food conservation. The poster has been professionally restored to address pinholes, border wear and some amount of staining in the upper left of the poster. The poster now displays beautifully. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.

    Estimate: $300 - $600.
