    Description

World War I Propaganda (United States Food Administration, 1918). Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Conservation Poster (21" X 29") "Keep It Coming...Waste Nothing," George Illian Artwork. War.
Artist George Illian designed this poster for the U.S. Food Administration in an effort to have American civilians be cognizant of the usage of food and resources. To the soldier's right is a quote by General John J. Pershing, reinforcing the need to feed both the soldier and those refugees and families left behind. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. May include edge wear, creases, small chips, pinholes, moderate tears, slight toning, or unobtrusive stains. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
