World War I Propaganda (Slav Press Bureau, 1918). Fine- on Linen. Recruiting Poster (25" X 38") "That Arm, Your Country Needs It," Vojtěch Preissig Artwork.
A source of much controversy once America entered the Great War, professional baseball players were given a pass on either fighting overseas or engaging in war-related work, since the sport was so popular. That changed, however, on September 2nd, 1918. After that date, all baseball teams were ordered to cease operations so that America's athletes could also be shipped out overseas. Partial touchup has been applied to some edge war, tears from the borders into the the background, and some chips in the borders and tears. There were two tears from the the top and right borders that extended into the soldier's thigh. Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
