    Description

Woman in the Moon (UFA, 1929). Swedish One Sheet (27.5" X 39.5") Est Artwork.
One of the earliest films in the science fiction genre, Woman in the Moon featured highly realistic sets and effects that helped propel its popularity. It joins Metropolis as one of Fritz Lang's great futuristic visions, both of which Lang co-wrote with his wife, Thea Von Harbou. It holds the great distinction of being the first accurate depiction of basic rocketry to be viewed by the public, such as showing a multi-stage rocket. This beautiful art deco Swedish one sheet is stunning in its simplicity and displays very well, showing only slight edge wear with minor tears and light creases. Folded, Very Fine+.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
