    When the Redskins Rode (Columbia, 1951). Italian 2 - Foglio (39" X 55").
This cheaply produced historical drama depicts a young George Washington crafting a treaty with the Delaware American Indians against the French during the French and Indian Wars of the mid-18th Century. Spies and intrigue abound in the costume drama starring Jon Hall, Mary Castle, and James Seay as Washington. This fabulous poster is by Italian artist Anselmo Ballester. It has small pinholes in the corners and minor wear to the borders and folds. There is a chip from the upper right corner and small chips from the right border. There is a minor chip in the hair of the Mohawk and a repaired tear in his back. There is a postage stamp on the arm of the character depicted in the upper right. Some soiling in the left border. Fine/Very Fine.
