Three in Exile (Truart Films, 1925). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 40.75") Style B.
Small production companies had to stay busy and continually pump out product to try and stay afloat with the big studios of the day, and 1925 was in line with that goal for the Truart Film Co., who released 23 short and feature-length productions that year. Louise Lorraine was the draw for this Western drama, having earlier played Jane in the 1921 movie serial The Adventures of Tarzan, starring alongside Art Acord and Tom London. Animal stars were also highly-coveted in the earliest decades of Hollywood, with this film featuring Rex the Wonder Dog and Black Beauty the Marvelous Horse, who share top billing with Lorraine. Heritage offers for the first time what is likely the only known copy of the style B one sheet for Three in Exile, which is in truly incredible condition for its age, only needing very light touchup to parts of the folds.
