    Description

The Outlaw (United Artists, 1946). One Sheet (27" X 41"). This was the official first release of Howard Hughes western that caused a national sensation and scandal. 20th Century Fox was originally set to distribute the film but when the censors wanted to severely cut the film, Fox walked away. That was 1941 and the film was held back from being officially released until after the war in 1946 when UA took over. This one sheet introduces the buxom starlet to the world and features her in her classic and provocative pose. The one sheet had a small chip off of the lower left corner and has had color retouch to the fold lines. The work was minor and the poster now appears near mint. Very Fine- on Linen.
