Description

Texas Rangers & Others Lot (Better Publications, January 1948). Magazines (3) (Multiple Pages, 7" X 9" & 7" X 10"). Western.
This lot features the January 1948 issue of the western "pulp" magazine Texas Rangers, which has the short stories "Allied Antlers of Death," "Texas Ranger Duty," "Doc Swap's Psychology," and "Buckskin Santa Claus." Also included in this lot is the May 1929 issue of North West Stories (GlenKel Publishing), which has previous owner ink stamps on the front cover and the first page; and the October 1934 issue of Complete Western Book Magazine (Newsstand Publications), which has short stories and the complete novel of W.C. Tuttle's "The Morgan Trail." Unrestored pulp magazines with an overall presentable appearance. They may have tears, some paper loss, stains, creases, spine and edge wear, and/or cover separations. Texas Rangers has tape on the inside of its front cover and an ink date stamp on its back cover; and North West Stories is missing most of its spine paper. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine.
