Description

King Cowboy (FBO, 1928). One Sheet (27" X 41"). When Tom Mix left William Fox Studios, a company that had made him the highest paid cowboy star at that time, he moved over to an outfit called FBO run by Joseph Kennedy, the patriarch of the future famous political family. This story is set in Africa, where a band of cowboys, headed by Mix, embark on a search for their missing boss. Mix and his buddies are captured, while Sally Blane is consigned to the sinister Emir's harem. Of course our hero foils the plans of the villain and rescues the heroine in the process. This style poster has only been publicly offered at auction once before, and is one of two known copies in existence. Very Fine- on Linen.
