Description

In Old Arizona (Fox, 1929). Half Sheet (22" X 28").
This landmark Western was the beginning of the location sound film. Shot in Bryce Canyon, the San Fernando Mission and the Mojave Desert, the film went on to win Academy Awards for Best Acting for Warner Baxter as the Cisco Kid, and was the recipient of four other nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Writing and Best Cinematography. The film dates from the beginning of the sound era and though it looks and sounds very stilted in its technique and acting, no one can deny that it is a part of cinema history! We have never seen nor sold this beautiful poster before and it may be the only copy known. It has been paper backed and the borders have been airbrushed. The image is in immaculate shape as the poster was never folded. Very Fine- on Paper.
