Gary Cooper stars as Will Kane, a retiring marshal whose past confronts him as danger looms at the stroke of noon. As his friends and allies abandon him one by one, Kane is left to face his enemies alone. A powerful film, High Noon was intended by producer Stanley Kramer and blacklisted writer Carl Foreman as an allegory for Hollywood's failure to stand against the House Un-American Activities Committee in the 1950s, but whether viewed through a political lens or as a straightforward Western, it remains an unforgettable, quintessential classic. This poster has retouched folds, small tears, crossfold wear, and pinholes.
