Haunted Gold (Warner Brothers - First National, 1932). One Sheet (27" X 41").
This early John Wayne effort finds The Duke out-smarting gold hunters and evil spirits haunting a treasure. The film is one of six Westerns the star would do for Warner Brothers in the early 1930s, all of which utilized stock footage from First National/Ken Maynard films. This gorgeous stone litho one sheet showcases an outstanding and rare image of a young John Wayne, which is always sought after by Wayne collectors. Professional restoration has been done to address a sizable amount of paper loss along the left side of the poster that extends into Wayne's hand, paper loss along the right side extending into Wayne's shoulder and the villain's face. The restoration has the poster in fantastic displaying condition. Very Good- on Linen.
