Good Men and True (FBO, 1922). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (26.75" X 40.75") Style B.
With a dramatic example of quality stone litho printing, it's Heritage's first time to offer a poster from this Harry Carey Old West adventure. A combination of a rough-and-tumble Western with a bit of unexpected comedy, this entertaining cowboy picture costars Noah Beery as a devious nominee vying against Carey to be elected as the town's sheriff, and will use any means to obtain the position. The lovely Vola Vale plays the obligatory kidnapped love interest, while Thomas Jefferson and Tully Marshal provide supporting performances. Signs of use found in this striking poster include light edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, soft creases, and pinholes. There are also a few tears, minor dust shadows, as well as some unobtrusive stains and smudges. The poster has mirrored writing and ink transfer, and a couple of pieces of archival tape on the verso.
