Eyes of the Forest (Fox, 1923). Very Fine on Linen. One Sheet (28.25" X 41").
In 1923, the time of this Western offering, Tom Mix was at the top of his game and the hero of every young boy. While filming this feature Mix and his wonder horse, Tony, were almost killed by a mistimed explosion, which seriously injured both rider and horse. Both survived and continued work shortly thereafter. This stunning poster offered for the first time at Heritage, is a dynamic stone litho one sheet and has benefitted from restoration to a couple of minor crossfold chips, a horizontal crease, as well as a small tear in the left border. The borders have been partially airbrushed.

    Estimate: $2,000 - $4,000.
