    Description

Dodge City (Warner Bros., 1946). Fine on Linen. First Post-War Release Italian Foglio (27.5" X 39.5") Luigi Martinati Artwork.
Heritage is pleased to offer this first post-war release Italian foglio for the first time. Errol Flynn had already mastered the swashbuckler genre with Captain Blood and The Adventures of Robin Hood, so Jack Warner decided it was time to see what else his leading man could do. In Dodge City - again under the direction of the legendary Michael Curtiz - Flynn took the Western genre head-on as sheriff Wade Hatton, who's tasked himself with cleaning up a lawless town and clearing out Bruce Cabot's band of wicked ruffians. Olivia de Havilland and Ann Sheridan round out the cast in this ace-high classic. Professionally restored, this poster once had fold wear and separation, pinholes, creases, and ink stamp bleedthrough. There were a few small tears and chips, as well as paper loss in the center crossfold. The upper border has been airbrushed, and there is some edge wear still visible, in addition to an ink censorship stamp in the lower border.
