    Desert Vengeance (Columbia, 1931). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Despite wearing a typical good guy white Stetson on this one sheet, Buck Jones' protagonist role is a bit more nuanced than your typical Western fare. In plot unconventional to the often repetitive cowboy genre, Jones is the victim of a brother-sister con artist team (played by Douglas Gilmore and Barbara Bedford), getting his titular vengeance with the help of his own gang of thieves and bandits, of which our hero is the leader. Paper from this unusual Western is exceptionally scarce, as we at Heritage have only had the opportunity to sell one other one sheet from the title. A great image in stone litho printing, professional restoration has been applied to fold wear and separations, pinholes, chips at the borders and folds, as well as tears, including a tear extending from the upper edge to the right brim of Buck Jones' hat. The borders have been airbrushed, rounding out the poster's restoration and making it a display-ready piece.
