101 Ranch Wild West Show (Riverside, 1910s). One Sheet (28" X 42").
Native Americans, principally the Ponca, Tonkawa, Otoe and Osage tribes, were always predominate features on the early 101 Ranch Wild West posters. They weren't just models for the posters, they were some of the best performers in the show and never failed to bring excitement as they toured the US and the world. This fantastic image of the four chiefs, majestically posing, speak for an entire era that has long since passed. Any pre-1920 paper on this historic show is difficult enough to find, let alone a stone lithograph this beautiful and complete. There isn't even a strong vertical crease. There are chips in the right border and top right corner. The top left corner also has surface paper loss. Don't miss your chance at a true piece of important Americana. Fine-.
